Olympics finally come to an end. Now everyone seems to lose the direction. What should we do next?
What I need is to sleep. Tomorrow I will fly back to Hong Kong for a day and apply for my passport. Good to see my families. And I can taste my mom's cooking. So excited!

Beijing Olympics

I finally made my wish come true. Olympics is the reason for me to come to Beijing. I am longing to experience the Olympics at the stadium.
Yesterday I went to Bird Nest for the athletics, spent an amazing night there. The last game of the night was 100M Males Final, there were over ninety thousands of people watching the games. Everyone was so excited for the new "bird man" in the world. The atmosphere was all heated up. You could feel the passion for their own counteris, seeing 80s years old Chinese man face-painting the china national flag and people from all around the world waving their national flag. Ninety thousands people stood up and made waves together. It felt like we were not living in China, but a Utopia where everyone live peacefully and happily together.
When I saw the facial expression of the athlete cross the line, I felt so touched. You could see all the athletes were giving out their best to compete and perform. You can feel the moment of humanity. Olympics is truly a game which celebrities the best of humanity.
At night, the bird nest and the water cube was so beautiful. It was really state of the arts architecture. It was an amazing to be in the Olympics.
Olympic Maniac
Recently I can't help myself watching Olympic games. I was staying until 2am midnight everyday to watch the highlights of the day. I feel so tired everyday when I woke up. This year I am at Beijing, it feels so close with the Olympic momentum.
Olympic can turn out to be good, but also may shift their lives. Today I was reading a newpapers on the plane, Olympic is such a heart-moving moments, people often got up and screamed during the game. There was a 68 yrs old guy getting a stroke while watching Olympic game 4 yrs ago. We need to pace ourselves, can't let Olympics ruin your daily rountine, or even your life. Olympic suppose to a celebrating moment, but not a tragedic moment.
Wish everyone will have peace while watching Olympics.

Chinese Youth
Last few days I did an ethnographic research on Chinese teens. I went to their home, played ball games with them, and went shopping with them.
Though I am a Chinese, I found that Chinese youth are so different from what I expected. There are a couple things that surprised me.
- No more little Emperor: China has lots of opportunties, but there are even intensive competition than ever. They have very high self-control on their lives, e.g. one boy said that he would not date any girls since dating will take up the time for studying, or one girl said there are only two types of people in China, one learning at all times, the one playing at all times, she would definitely be the one who learns more.
- Me Win, My family Win: Chinese teens still remained their family values, especially responsibility. They bear all the duties to provide a better future for the entire family, e.g. many teenagers mentioned they want to buy a bigger house and provide a better living standard.
- Live now, Looking for relaxing moments: They knew once they graduate from school, they need to face the reality world. Teenagers try to enjoy themselves during studying time.
- Afraid of Loneliness: Single child wants to have companion at all times. Online/ Mobile is a perfect platform for them to connect and be connected. E.g. One teenger always keep their phone on their hands. One teenager will play online videoes at the same time with his friends, then chat online after the videoes.
- Small dream, Small goal: Since they are aware how tough the world is, they are very practical about lives. They only thinks about public exams, the furthest they will consider what types of job they would like to have after college graduation. One teens said China is so unpredictable, so how come I should think further.
- Era of Innovation: Teens now experience an open, rich-information, high-tech, free and ever-changing society. Teens thinks new China is about freedom, indviduality and challenging conventions. Life should be full of extraordinary surprises.
Originally I was a bit worried about the future of China. Afer vising the post 80s generation, I think the future of China will be as bright as sunshine. Cheers for the next generation of New China.

Late Night
Today I am working late again for a pitch tomorrow. I was typing in front of my laptop at the hotel room of Xiamen. I wish I can take a break after this pitch.
I was doing research and looking for commerical about mother's love. I really like the olympic campaign from Johnson & Johnson. It expresses the purity and ever-giving love from moms. Mom, I love you!!!

Relationship Made Simple
Man are from Mars, Woman are from Venius. I wonder if life can be much simpler.
- What if men and women are talking in same language,
- What if women can understand that men had a life beyond relationship
- What if men know how to make women feel secure
- What if men and women can feel secure even they don't get married
What if all relationshop can be simpler...
The game of relationship isn't easy for me. Help!!!

Beijing Olympic is Approaching
Beijing Olympic will happen in next week. It is a moment that billions of Chinese are excited about. But if you were living in Beijing, Olympics brings more troublesome than benefits.
Now there are tight inspection on the road, metro, and the plane. No more pirated DVDs, no more pirated CDs... etc. Everywhere is full of tourists. Even the food gets more expensive than before.
Especially the Olympic committe is living right opposite to my office building. Everyday you can see hundreds of troops marching around the hotel 24 hours, and forty inspection dogs is standing by in front of the hotels. I never saw so many dog troops in my life. I feel my office building is not safe place to be. If I were the terrorist, it will be a very strategic location for them.
Next week, I need to fly in & out of Beijing for business trips, right before the Olympic day. I wish the terriorist will not bomb my plane, there are still lots of things I have not done yet.
